Singing fun

The blog has been greatly lacking in the picture department lately so here's a little video of Alena singing and "reading" one of her favorite books. She used to love this little book that contains four different nursery rhymes. It must have gotten shoved to the bottom of the book basket and I hadn't seen it in a long time. However, she found it the other day and now wants to read it all the time. The video is very grainy our little point and shoot camera doesn't do very fancy videos but you can at least hear her. At the end she wants to see herself so she keeps getting closer and closer.

and here are a few pictures of a very dirty Alena after playing outside one evening this week. Mom washed her dress at least four times and it never came completely clean.
