I'm leaving this afternoon for our church's womens retreat - yeah! Won't be back until Sunday afternoon. Nae is all set to handle the kids this weekend. I've laid out their clothes and stocked the pantry with kid friendly foods like chicken nuggets and Easy Mac. Trust me when I say that Nae won't be eating kid friendly food in fact he will probably be concocting some very elaborate stir fry dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The only two places they need to go are Gabe's soccer game on Saturday and church Sunday even though I have been assured that they will be busy all weekend. I'll be sure to let you know how it goes.

Hope you have an enjoyable time doing girly (not mommy) things. Imagine, dinner without whining and crumbs, no early morning wakeup calls, no dirty diapers, no meal or snack preparations or cleanup....Don't know which direction you're headed, but can you pick me up - I can pack quickly?!
ENJOY!!!!! It's so nice to get to be just a girl for a day or two, not mom, nurse, maid, cook... I'm so excited for you!!
