Slow as usual getting these on here, but Alena did indeed turn 7, and had fun enjoying her day. May 16th was not only Alena's birthday, but also the last day of school and (make-up) field day as well. It was jam packed with fun! We brought doughnuts for her Kindergarten class to start the day and then it was off to sign yearbooks and have end of year class parties. After lunch, it was back to school for Mommy where I helped man the tug of war station for field day. After school we headed to Costco where Alena picked The Incredibles for movie watching that night, and for dinner it was Daddy's chicken and rice at Alena's request.
The fun was not over, however because on Saturday, Auntie Noi (who Alena shares a birthday with) picked up Alena and one of her good friends and they headed to the paint your own pottery studio and then to eat lunch at Pie in the Sky and after that it was ice cream at Baskin Robins. I don't think we could have handled any more partying!
