Zoo Day

On our one day of fall break last week, we decided to head to the zoo.

This was the real reason the kids wanted to go - to see the newly opened kangaroo exhibit. They were convinced that we were the only people in all of Nashville who had not yet been to see the kangaroos. Thankfully, on the day we were there, a kangaroo had decided to take a nap right on the pathway so that we were able to pet it and the nice zoo worker took our picture so we have proof that we did indeed get to experience the kangaroos!
