It is amazing to me how quickly they pick up the Lao that Nae teaches them - much faster than I do. (Sorry about all the extra noises - it's just impossible for everyone else to stay quiet, apparently. We edited out the part at the beginning were I was threatening the older two, "Be quiet and let Alena have a turn!")

Saw this quote here and thought it applied well to our day. It was so nice to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather with a little walk yesterday evening. Notice the girls both brought along their babies in their slings

and this picture reminded me of this one taken over two years ago. Wow I can't believe how they have changed since then.

After yesterday, we all have hope that warm weather will eventually arrive and stay around for a while.

Siblings

Gabriel told me just the other day, "I can't believe I ever wanted Eden to be a boy!" It's so fun to watch siblings grow to love each other (at least most of the time).

which is also my excuse for the erratic blog posting. Turns out it is not easy to get a house ready to sell and then keep it that way while living in it with four children. We'll see how it goes.

Also, you could probably tell from the Valentine's Day pictures but this big guy has finally lost his first tooth:

I think he was convinced that he was the only 6 year old who hadn't lost a tooth, but it finally happened.

The best pets

We had gotten Gabriel an Ant Farm for Christmas and the ants finally came in yesterday. Last night we got it all set up, dumped the ants in, and they went to work. No feeding, watering, or cleaning required - I think we can handle that. Plus it glows with a neon green light which makes a pretty cool night light.

6 months old

6 months? I just can't believe how fast the time is going by. We all love you our little "Eden Vanh, Vanh!"
