Our Little Fireman

After getting Gabriel this new raincoat, he has really been on a fireman kick. He just puts on all of his gear and wears it around the house. Notice the "gloves" which are really gray socks - his idea of course. Now if only it would rain so he could get some real use out of this coat.

Playing outside

The weather has been cold this week (at least cold for Nashville) and we've been inside the whole time. So, on Friday I bundled up the kids and we braved the cold for about 45 minutes. As you can see, Mya had a very hard time keeping her hat out of her eyes and that combined with her bulky coat caused quite a few spills onto the grass. She didn't seem to mind, though. Enjoy the pictures.

We have not been very good this week at taking pictures and as a result, have none of Gabriel but we did manage to get these two cute ones of Mya. The first one of her modeling her new overalls and the second one of her in the flannel pants that Mathu made her. Mya is adding to her vocabulary everyday and cracks us up doing animal sounds. Won't be long and she'll be talking as much as her brother. We'll try to do better next week with the pictures.

Our New Baby!!

We went for my ultrasound today so here are the pictures of our new baby. We stuck to our decision, and didn't find out what the gender is so we're in for a suprise come June. Thankfully, everything looked good and all the baby's measurements were good . We pray that this newest Soundara continues to grow and be healthy. This first picture is kind of dark but it's a side view of the face with the hand up on the face.

Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles

Mya got this really neat bubble blower for Christmas; you just have to pull down the handle and bubbles come out. The weather was so nice today that we went out and gave it a test run. Both the kids loved it except Mya figured out quickly the little hole where the bubbles blew out and she liked to stick her finger in there and then of course it wouldn't work. Thanks Bing and Lisa for the great present! Enjoy the pictures.

I had a little talk with Gabe before we went out about sharing and how this was really Mya's present and he wasn't going to take it over even if Mya didn't do it the "right way." He did very well sharing and I thought this picture was so sweet of him patiently showing Mya how to pull down the handle.
This last picture is very random, but so Gabe. A good friend gave us a bag of hand-me-down clothes and in going through them I discovered this Lowe's apron. You wouldn't believe the fun he has had with this thing, "playing like I work at Lowe's." I'm not really sure why he has the hat on but doesn't it just add to the picture?
