Cute as a Picture

Really, can you get any cuter than this? Mya is modeling her beauitful dress that Di Shoemake made for her. We had to be quick to get her picture with the hat on though, she thought it was great fun to take it off as soon as we put it on.
We enjoyed a fun day at the lake yesterday. Here's Mya (who loved the water) taking a break and snackin' on some cheerios.
No, this isn't an actor, and he wasn't sick either, Gabriel actually laid down on the couch by himself and went to sleep this afternoon. I think it's the first time ever so I had to take a picture. Our trip to the zoo this morning must have worn him out.

Our Little Man

We've gotten so few really good pictures of Gabriel lately, that I had to put these on. He's getting so big, but not too big to enjoy a hot afternoon in the little wade pool with Daddy and Mya.

Clap your hands!!

Mya has started clapping her hands. Gabe will holler, "Yay, Mya" and she will smile and clap her hands.

What a happy girl. Mya is almost always smiling, but watch out if she's tired or hungry! :)

Our friends Wills and David and Scottie and Ellen came over on Tuesday and enjoyed some time in the pool and sprinkler. Here are the boys enjoying their lunch on the deck.

We enjoyed going to the agriculture museum today where they had lots of farm activities including riding these little donkeys. It was Gabe's first "horse" ride and he had a good time.

Cousins or Twins???

Several members of the Soundaras think that Henry looks like Gabriel did as a baby. What do you think? Henry is on the left, Gabriel on the right. You can certainly tell how strong the Soundara genes are!

Happy July 4th!!!

We've had a good long July 4th weekend. We started it off with a trip to Arkansas to visit Na, Todd and their new son Henry. They live on a 60 acre farm, so there was lots to do and Gabe especially had a great time. We didn't get a lot of pictures but Noi did so I will post more includidng some of Henry when we get them. If you ask Gabe what he got to do in Arkansas he would probably say - FISH!! He did go out in an actual boat in the pond to fish, but he liked this just as well. He didn't care that there were no fish in the pool to catch, the fun came in casting the hook in and then winding it back up.
Savannah is cooling off in the pool. Mya didn't get in since she had a little bit of a cold while we were visiting Arkansas.
We went to the pool with the Crooks on July 4th and then went down town to see the fireworks. This is the best picture we got of Mya and there were no good ones of Gabe. They were both exhausted from swimming all day, but we had a really nice day.
Miss Mya is just all over the house now. She also pulled up for the first time yesterday on the dishwasher. Of course by the time I got the camera she had fallen down and I couldn't get her to do it again. You can't see them in the picture, but she has gotten her bottom two teeth in as well.
